Some Post NFL Combine Notes

Haden Dissapoints - Joe Haden ran his 40 time and for someone who is supposed to be an elite corner, his 4.57 time today was a huge dissappointment. I look for Haden to run well at his pro day while keeping himself atop the 2010 cornerbacks.

You May Run Like Mays... - Taylor Mays had a great 40 time clocked by some in the 4.2's but most had him in the low 4.3's. He also had a 41" vertical jump.

Berry Runs, Jumps and Benches Like Mays - Eric Berry, who I've pimed non-stop on this blog posted a blazing 4.4 40 and out jumped Mays in both the Vertical 43" and a Broad of 10'10"

Jacoby Ford is FAAAASSST - Ford ran a 4.28 40. Browns are looking for speed at the WR position. This could be a great pick if he's there in the 3rd.

6 RB's ran sub 4.5 40's - With speed being a big factor this year 6 RB's ran lower than 4.5 and the BIG backs were lighting it up with times in the 4.5's and low 4.6's. I like the thought of a big back like that.

Also in Free Agent news, The Jets cut Thomas Jones, who although is 32 I would love to see come to Cleveland. Don't forget Mangini is the one that brought him to New York. I'll take his 1400 yards/year.
