The Browns have traded for Seahawk Seneca Wallace for unknown compensation according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. I would not be up in arms about this trade. While there have been discussions about the Browns' interest in the backup QB, I do not believe that Holmgren and company believe this is THE answer at Quarterback. My guess is that as we transition to the WC offense, we want a Ken Dorsey type to show the other QBs the ropes.
My feeling is that the Browns would not be terrified of heading into the season with Wallace as the starter, but I think at best he competes with someone else. IF the Browns acquire another QB my guess is Brady Quinn is on his way out.
